Pisa...Home of the leaning tower...

Here are a couple of pictures from our quick day trip to Pisa. The leaning tower was quite cool. You could actually FEEL it leaning when you walked up the stairs. All 300 of them. We got into Pisa kind of early on Sunday and spent the day and rushed to the airport to make sure we made our flight back to Paris...only to spend the next SIX hours there because our flight was delayed and then the destination airport was changed from Orly to Charles De Gualle. It was quite a late night experience. We didn't get into CDG until after 2am and had to be back at the airport by 8am this morning to catch our flight back out.... Not sure what happened with the plane as the explanation was in french. Something about the Tour de France and Nice?? Who knows. I ate more gelato as we waited. What a shame.

Anyway, I write this in Houston, Tx. I'm back home...nearly anyway. I tried to grab on to the base of the Eiffel tower and hold on for dear life, but Justin just pried my hands loose.
